Tales from Rural Maine: Extra! Extra!

I love reading our local weekly paper, The Enterprise. A few days after arriving, I actually found myself sitting on the couch experiencing tears of joy after reading a front page news story about how the (only) stop light in town was listing to the south. Orange safety cones were reported as being imminent.

While I may quickly tire of small town life, for now, there is something so unbelievably sweet to me about the fact that when the stop light leans one way or the other, it is undeniably front page news.
